20mm Boss Begleri - Mixed Media Editions

For a long time, the begleri pendulum was slinging towards lighter and smaller beads, but lately we've been hearing from customers who appreciate the slower pace and sense of stability that come with slinging some of the bigger and heavier sets. At around 18g/ bead, the 20mm titanium Bosses are slightly heavier than our original titanium Titans, and have much of that same feel. 

They swing with loads of stability and carry a ton of momentum, which helps a lot with learning tricks like finger rolls where you rely on feel to retain control of the beads. And ohh the clack. These hefty beads deliver a very satisfying sound when they hit together, probably unmatched by anything else we offer.

 Natural Material Editions

Big, round begleri have a character all their own, and our 20mm Yak Horn and Tagua Nut begleri are an ideal iteration of the form. The oversized spherical shape creates a distinctive rhythm in play, while the lightweight nature of Tagua Nut and Yak Horn keeps the beads surprisingly agile on the string.

Both of these 20mm sets offer a completely different feel from their metal counterparts. The materials are warm to the touch, beautifully tactile, and produce a satisfying, muted clack that makes even simple swings and catches rewarding. Despite their generous size, they remain light enough for extended play and everyday carry.

Each material brings its own personality. Tagua has a smooth, almost wax-like feel with subtle variations in tone, while Yak Horn offers a slightly crisper texture and with some minimal natural patterning. No two sets are exactly alike, making each one unique.

While natural materials should never be expected to withstand abuse in the same way as metal, these sets are designed for regular play and handling. The thick walls make them resilient, and the materials are durable enough for occasional drops, though we do recommend care around hard, rough surfaces, which will ding any material. For those looking for something a little different from the usual metal experience, they offer a refreshingly organic take on one of our favourite skill toys.
