Over the past few years, as mala beads have become more commonplace, we've expanded our range to include more materials and bolder options, first at 15mm diameter, then at 17mm diameter. Now finally hitting 20mm, and running around 214g\/ set, it is safe to assume that these sets are what the kids would call the mala beads Final Boss. It would be hard to overstate the presence that these beads convey when you hold them in your hand or slide them onto the wrist. Tagua has a smooth, almost wax-like feel that is warm and inviting in the hand, while Yak Horn offers a slightly crisper texture with rich natural variation. Tagua nut ranges from pure white to slightly yellow, and will naturally “antique” over time, mimicking elephant ivory by taking on a slight yellow tint as it ages through use.
